Job summary

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés Group in Miami Beach, FL seeks a Receiver to manage daily receiving, inspection, and storage of food and restaurant supplies. You will work closely with Culinary, Beverage, and Operations leadership to protect product quality and ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, able to communicate with vendors and team leaders, and capable of working early mornings with flexible scheduling based on delivery needs.

Qualifications

• Previous receiving, inventory, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume or upscale hospitality environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and verify invoices, purchase orders, quantities, and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive all food, beverage, and restaurant supply deliveries accurately and efficiently.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips.
• Inspect products for freshness, quality, temperature, and packaging integrity.
• Document shortages, substitutions, credits, and discrepancies accurately.
• Maintain organized storage areas and rotate products using FIFO.
