Job summary

The Bungalow Hospitality Group is seeking a Server in Long Beach, CA to deliver attentive hospitality and guide guests through the food and beverage experience in a fast-paced, elevated bistro.

You will take accurate orders, suggest menu pairings, and ensure responsible alcohol service while upholding standards with the General Manager and Assistant GM. Prior fancy-dining experience is valued; join a team focused on memorable guest moments.

Qualifications

• California Food Handler Card required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• California RBS Certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of serving experience in a fast-paced, elevated bistro or restaurant.
• Good working knowledge of California wines and craft cocktails; ability to make recommendations.
• POS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests warmly and professionally throughout the dining experience.
• Guide guests through the menu with recommendations and pairings.
• Take accurate orders and enter them correctly into the POS system; deliver promptly.
• Maintain strong knowledge of wines, cocktails, and food; make tailored recommendations.
• Serve alcohol responsibly per California ABC laws; verify IDs and handle intoxicated guests.
• Follow cash-handling, POS, and tip-reporting procedures; maintain clean, organized service areas.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation requirements; report concerns to management.
