Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steak House seeks an experienced bartender to prepare and serve soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and wine per RCSH specs, ensuring guests have a superior dining experience. You will provide timely beverage service to the dining staff and handle cashier duties for the bar and guests.

Daily duties include bar setup, stock checks, and adherence to liquor laws and RCSH policies. The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to manage busy periods with

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service.
• Extensive wine knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations while remaining professional.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sets up bar and completes opening/side work duties.
• Stocks bar with liquor, beverages and supplies.
• Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room.
• Greets Guests, makes beverage suggestions and answers questions.
• Takes, records and rings orders; processes payments.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar counter, back bar and storage areas.
• Performs cashiering for the service staff.
• Complies with liquor laws and RCSH policies.
• Supports other Front-of-House positions as needed.
• Follows approved training and standard procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
