Hudson House Rice Village, part of Vandelay Hospitality Group, seeks a bartender to deliver warm, polished hospitality and crafted beverages. This role supports both bar and dining room service, ensuring guests feel welcome from first pour to farewell.

Ideal candidates bring 21+ years of age, TABC certification, and a passion for wine, beer, and cocktails. You’ll work in a fast-paced, upscale setting with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old and eligible to work in the US.
• TABC certification and knowledge of liquor laws.
• Experience in a full-service upscale high-volume establishment preferred.
• Willing to complete quizzes on product and job knowledge.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive service at bar and dining room.
• Craft cocktails and beverages per Vandelay standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the full beverage program.
• Engage guests with guidance and recommendations.
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure seamless service.
• Uphold all steps of service with proper pacing and accuracy.
• Execute opening and closing bar procedures.
• Maintain bar inventory and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with servers and hosts for smooth operations.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Address guest concerns with professionalism and warmth.
• Participate in ongoing training to deepen skills.
