Job summary

Hudson House River Oaks is seeking a bartender to craft exceptional beverages and deliver warm, polished hospitality at our upscale, high-energy bar and dining room. You will move with efficiency, anticipate guest needs, and guide guests through our beverage program with confidence.

Requirements include a passion for wine, beer, and craft cocktails, strong communication, and a team-focused mindset. TABC and state certifications are required as applicable. Compensation is discussed at interview.

• 21+ years old required.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to guests at the bar and in support of the dining room.
• Craft cocktails and prepare beverages with precision, consistency, and adherence to Vandelay recipes and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of full beverage program including wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, and seasonal features.
• Engage with guests in a genuine and hospitable manner, offering guidance and recommendations.
• Adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines and uphold guest safety.
• Collaborate with servers, hosts, and team members to support smooth operations.
