Job summary

Hudson House in Dallas is seeking a bartender to deliver warm, polished hospitality while crafting beverages that showcase our East Coast-inspired menu. You will serve at the bar or support the dining room, maintaining knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, and seasonal features, while guiding guests with recommendations.

The role requires 21+ with a passion for hospitality, strong communication, and a team mindset.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old required.
• Experience in upscale, high-volume bars preferred.
• Must complete product knowledge quizzes.
• Knowledge and passion for wine, beer and craft cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive service at the bar and in support of the dining room.
• Craft cocktails and prepare beverages to Vandelay recipes and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the full beverage program including wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, and seasonal features.
• Engage with guests with guidance and recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to ensure seamless service.
• Uphold all steps of service including pacing, presentation, and order accuracy.
• Open and close procedures for the bar with cleanliness and readiness.
• Maintain bar inventory, restock supplies, and communicate product needs.
• Collaborate with servers and hosts to support smooth operations and guest experiences.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and guest safety.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and with warmth.
• Participate in ongoing training to deepen knowledge and refine skills.
