Qualifications

• One-on-one tutoring with Middle and Upper School students.
• Sessions are 40-50 minutes, occurring during school and after school hours Monday through Friday.
• Ability to develop healthy rapport with students and collaborate with department colleagues.
• Commitment to Waterford School’s mission, vision, and values in curriculum, teaching, and community.
• Proficiency in upper-level math and science subjects.
• Maintain student progress reports each term.
• Maintain organized student records in Google Drive.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted math/science tutoring to middle and upper school students.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual student needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and teachers about progress.
• Record and report student progress after each term.
• Collaborate with Math Department on curriculum and standards.
• Attend weekly tutor meetings and fall training.
