Job summary

St. Charles School District is seeking a Title I Interventionist for Monroe Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a part-time position providing targeted math and reading instruction to eligible students under the direction of the Title I teacher and building principal.

Work is 3.25 hours per day over 154 student days, with compensation of $40.80 per hour. Duties include small-group instruction, progress monitoring, and communication with parents as required.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Missouri Elementary Certification.
• Provide instruction in math and reading to elementary students eligible for Title I services.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY-

To provide individual and small group instruction in math and/or reading skills to elementary-aged students eligible to receive Title I services at the direction of the Title I teacher and/or building principal.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-

• Provide instruction in math and/or reading skills to individual students or in a small group setting.
• Instruction may take place in the classroom (push in) or outside of the classroom (pull out) based on the direction of the Title I teacher.
• Monitor and report student progress on identified skills to Title I and/or classroom teacher.
• Communicate with parents at the request of the Title I teacher.
• Motivate students in a fun, creative, and energizing way.

Create an environment of high interest where students are engaged and excited about learning.

Terms of employment-

Part-Time Position for the 2026-2027 school year. 154 student days at 3.25 hours a day

Salary-

$40.80 per hour
