Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field is required or equivalent.
• MSDE professional or advanced teaching certificate or license in Elementary Education required or eligible.
• Experience with current instructional practices and technology in elementary education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction to Elementary students using instructional plans and materials.
• Creates an environment conducive to students' intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development.
• Monitors and evaluates student performance; develops improvement plans.
• Maintains records and follows procedures; communicates progress with families and staff.
• Collaborates with colleagues to apply current trends and equity-focused pedagogy.
• Attends staff meetings and participates in committee work.
• May be assigned to any applicable school in the district.
