Job summary

Tri-City United ISD 2905 in Montgomery K-8 is seeking an Elementary Teacher, Grade 3, long-term substitute beginning November 2, 2026 for approximately 4-5 months. Minnesota Teaching License is required and compensation is $248.63/day per the ISD master agreement.

Responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging lessons, collaborating with students, families, and staff, and participating in professional development activities (PLC/CLT).

Qualifications

• Minnesota Teaching License required.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Participate in professional development and PLC/CLT.

• Elementary Teaching experience preferred, but not required.
• Actively participate in all professional development activities and professional collaboration time (PLC / CLT)
• Prepare and collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and staff to promote student engagement
• Utilize best practice (research-based) strategies in lesson development and delivery
• Prepare daily/weekly lesson plans addressing student needs as aligned with the Minnesota Standards
• Understand and promote school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program within our schools
