Job summary

Paramount Schools of Excellence in Indiana seeks a PSOE Classroom Teacher to deliver direct instruction using PSOE frameworks, plan lessons, analyze data, and manage classrooms while aligning with IEPs and 504 plans.

This role involves collaboration with team leads, Elite Teachers, and specialists, maintaining records, communicating with families, and contributing to school operations and professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana State Teaching License or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in education.
• Prior full-time education experience preferred.
• Excellence in organizational management and data disaggregation, with ability to manage multiple tasks and strategic objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and collaborative communicator.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct instruction in whole-class, small group, and individual settings.
• Uses data-driven instruction and PSOE frameworks to deliver standards-driven instruction.
• Completes assessments, grading, planning, and conferences within deadlines.
• Coordinates with team lead, Elite Teachers, Special Education Director, counselor and other staff to support learners with exceptional needs.
• Ensures effective implementation of IEPs, 504 plans, BIPs, and FBAs.
• Completes required reporting and maintains student records.
• Maintains regular family communication and community partnerships.
• Participates in school committees and supports local operations.
