Job summary

Federal Way Public Schools is seeking a ParaEducator (School Aide) at Camelot Elementary. You will supervise students, support basic skills, and assist with safety and daily routines under a supervising teacher’s direction.

Responsibilities include tutoring, supporting instructional and behavioral programs, and coordinating plans with teachers and staff while maintaining a positive learning environment for K–5 students.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IEPs, safety procedures, and diverse learning styles.
• Strong spelling, grammar, and math foundations.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students throughout the school day.
• Tutor individuals and groups in targeted skills.
• Assist the teacher in instructional and behavioral programs.
• Plan daily/weekly with teachers and staff serving the same students.
• Communicate concerns to the principal regarding safety or student issues.
