Job summary

Lake Washington School District is seeking a Student Success Facilitator at Baker Elementary to partner with staff, students, and families to improve engagement, attendance, behavior, and social-emotional outcomes.

The role provides Tier 1, 2, and some Tier 3 supports through interventions, coaching, restorative practices, and family engagement, identifying learning barriers and building skills for sustained school success. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, counseling, human services, child development, or related field.
• Experience working with students with behavioral, social-emotional, attendance, or engagement challenges.
• Knowledge of MTSS, PBIS, restorative practices, trauma-informed practices, and social-emotional learning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with student support teams to identify students needing additional behavioral, social-emotional, attendance, or engagement supports.
• Implement targeted interventions to improve self-regulation, engagement, attendance, and school success.
• Support individual and small-group coaching focused on social skills, conflict resolution, self-management, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring targeted intervention plans.
• Collect and analyze student data to inform intervention decisions and monitor effectiveness.
• Support implementation of evidence-based behavioral and engagement practices.
• Partner with families to identify barriers impacting attendance, engagement, behavior, and academic success.
