Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Massachusetts certification for Speech & Language Therapist or professional licensure required
• Three years' experience in school or clinical setting
• Knowledge of IDEA regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Implements child Find: refer, screen, evaluate, diagnose, and recommend intervention strategies for referred students
• Completes all assessments and written reports within IDEA timelines
• Completes progress reports within IDEA timelines
• Maintains confidentiality and ethical standards per ASHA Code of Ethics
• Maintains written records of service delivery for all students
• Consults with administration, staff and families regarding interventions
• Reports evaluation results to IEP eligibility meetings
• Observes students in learning environments as requested
• Participates in Professional Development and stays current with evaluation instruments
• Consults with other professionals as needed
• Supervisory responsibilities as needed
