Job summary

Winchester Public Schools, MA, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students with communication disorders by assessment, instruction and consultation. The SLP collaborates with educators, families and support staff to foster communication skills for academic and social success.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure and certification.
  • Experience working with high school-aged and post-graduate students.
  • Strong oral and written communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations of speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with the Special Education Team to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs.
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress; adjust interventions as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
