Soliant is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an elementary classroom in Rhode Island. This full-time contract runs from October 16, 2026 to January 15, 2027, with a schedule of 8:15 am to 3:45 pm and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Qualifications

• Rhode Island Special Education Teacher Certification required.
• Experience with elementary students preferred.
• Strong classroom management and differentiation strategies.
• Commitment to collaboration with staff, students, and families.
• Ability to create engaging, individualized lesson plans tailored to diverse needs.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality instruction to a small group of students with varying abilities.
• Work closely with teaching assistants to support individualized student goals.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instruction as needed; maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with team members and families.
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages growth.
