Job summary

TheraPeds Partners seeks a full-time, on-site Special Education Teacher for a Central Falls, RI school. You will deliver SPED instruction and case management, develop IEPs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support PreK–12 students.

The role emphasizes strong communication, collaboration with parents, and a commitment to high-quality SPED services in a district setting.

Qualifications

• Teaching Certification in Special Education.
• State SPED teacher license.
• 1+ year of school-based experience preferred.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Experience with children; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Deliver instruction tailored to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and specialists for a holistic approach.
• Monitor progress and adapt instructional strategies to improve outcomes.
• Maintain records of student performance, behavior, and progress.
• Create a welcoming, safe, and productive classroom environment.
• Provide guidance to staff on implementing educational strategies.
