Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time teaching experience in an urban setting preferred.
• Pennsylvania State certification Level I or II preferred; if uncertified, must enroll in PA-approved certification within one year of hire.
• Complete PA State Police, PA Child Abuse, and Cogent background checks prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Create rigorous, engaging lesson plans aligned to provided curricula/resources (where applicable).
• Infuse school values into daily lessons and school practices; support classroom culture.
• Maintain accurate student grades/records and communicate with families regarding growth and progress.
• Model and implement school policies within the classroom and serve as a role model for students.
• Take ownership for professional development and participate in school-wide initiatives.
