Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a center-based program near Saint Francis, MN. The contract runs through June 3, 2027 and is a 40-hour-per-week role designed to help elementary students grow and achieve in a supportive school environment.

You will manage a caseload of about 11 students, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with general education staff. Minnesota PELSB license with EBD endorsement is required; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License required (Tier 1/2 preferred; Tier 3/4 considered).
• Licensure in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD) required.
• Experience in center-based or similar elementary settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt instruction and monitor progress closely.
• Strong communication for collaboration with parents, staff, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting emotional and behavioral needs.
• Foster a positive, empowering classroom climate that supports each students unique learning style.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to deliver coordinated services.
• Collect, maintain, and report data on student progress and program effectiveness.
• Act as an advocate for students, ensuring access to appropriate resources and accommodations.
