Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a contracted Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a center-based program near Anoka, MN. The role runs ASAP through June 3, 2027, with a 40-hour week, providing targeted instruction and progress reporting for a caseload of about 11 students.

You'll collaborate with school teams, implement IEPs, and use evidence-based strategies to foster academic, social, and behavioral growth in a supportive classroom community.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 or 2 accepted).
• Licensure in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD) required.
• Commitment to serving students with diverse needs in a school-based setting.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Key Qualifications:

What Youll Do:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with emotional or behavioral disorders in a center-based elementary environment
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with school teams and families
• Employ evidence-based strategies to foster academic, social, and behavioral success
• Track progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly report on student outcomes
• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educators to create an inclusive and positive classroom community
