Job summary

Qualifications

Valid Special Education teaching certification.
Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students in a special education setting.
Ability to provide toileting assistance in a respectful, professional manner.
Comfortable communicating with team members, students, and families.
Familiarity with a collaborative, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Compassion and commitment to fostering growth in students with mild behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
Use evidence-based practices to meet learning goals and behavioral objectives.
Partner closely with teaching assistants, behavior technicians, and co-teachers.
Maintain accurate records and reporting.
Support daily living activities, including toileting and care for students with medical needs.
