Brooklyn Center Community Schools in Brooklyn Center, MN, seeks a Special Education Assistant for Brooklyn Center Elementary for the 2026-2027 year. The SEA will assist with instructional and non-instructional activities, support students and teachers, and help implement IEP goals.
Hours are 7:15am–2:15pm, 183 duty days, pay range $21.62–$26.44 per hour, with $0.40 extra per hour for PCA certification. Eligible candidates may have an Associate degree or 60 credits, and PCA certification.
The Brooklyn Center Community School (BCCS) District is seeking applicants to join our district as a Special Education Assistant (SEA) at Brooklyn Center Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. The SEA assists with the implementation of a comprehensive educational program for students in an inclusionary setting, instructing or delivering service to students or parents, assisting classroom teachers by working with individual students or small groups, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Special Education Teacher and Special Services Leadership.

Pay and Benefits: $21.62/hour- $26.44/hour- based on experience and education. An additional $0.40 per hour will be paid for all education assistants holding the PCA certification.
