Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Special Education Teacher for elementary students in a behavior-focused setting. This contract role runs from August 5, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with potential for long-term or direct-hire opportunities depending on district needs.

You will develop tailored instruction, support students’ academic and behavioral growth, and collaborate with a supportive team to ensure compliant IEP goals and data-driven progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Valid Special Education teaching license relevant to elementary grades.
• Experience working with students with behavioral needs.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and IEP implementation.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and students.
• Ability to adapt lessons and classroom environment to individual student needs.
• Strong organizational skills and a patient, proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual IEP goals.
• Foster an inclusive, structured classroom environment emphasizing positive behavior supports.
• Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families for holistic student support.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional plans as needed.
• Implement behavior intervention plans with empathy and consistency.
