Job summary

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification appropriate for elementary grades.
• Experience teaching in special education, preferably in a resource room setting.
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation and progress monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with students, families, and educators.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with a range of needs, focusing on individualized goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success.
• Monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Create a positive, structured, and encouraging classroom environment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and resources to engage learners and adapt lessons.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress.
