Job summary

Qualifications

• Education – High School Diploma (minimum), 60 college credits/Associate’s Degree or ability to pass ParaPro Assessment
• Experience – Evidence of experience working with students
• Required: Hepatitis B Vaccine and Crisis Prevention Intervention training

Responsibilities

• Implements IEP and Behavior Plan under the supervision of the teacher
• Assists the teacher with learning activities in group and 1-on-1 settings
• Assists students with health and self-help needs, including feeding, toileting, positioning, and dressing
• Assists students in developing social and emotional skills
• Supervises students during drills, assemblies, recess, field trips, and other activities
