Job summary

Brighton School is seeking an Elementary Soccer Assistant Coach for Kindergarten through 3rd grade. This part-time role averages about 5–6 hours weekly, totaling 32 hours across the eight‑week fall season.

Hours run 3:00 p.m.–4:30 p.m. on practice days and 3:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. on game days, with three practices weekly and two games. Prior coaching experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree encouraged.
• Prior coaching experience in soccer or youth athletics is required.
• Knowledge of fundamental soccer skills, rules, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach during soccer practices and games.
• Teach age-appropriate soccer fundamentals, skills and sportsmanship.
• Uphold the safety and wellbeing of student-athletes.
• Encourage teamwork, confidence and positive participation.
• Coordinate practices and games with staff and families.
