Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is seeking part-time coaches to lead after-school sports classes for kids aged 5–10 in local elementary schools. Each session lasts about one hour, with a possible extra 30 minutes for pre-care, Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Coaches will follow provided lesson plans, manage 8–16 students, and maintain a fun, energetic learning environment. Training/shadowing is offered before starting; reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old at application.
• Local residency and in-person availability are required.
• Experience with sports, coaching, or work with kids is preferred but not required.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment (provided by the company). (Coach should have reliable transportation)
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.

Requirements:

• Must be 19+ years old upon application
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting
