Job summary

Goodrich Area Schools seeks an Elementary Student Success Coach to support students, staff, and families with social-emotional needs including mental health and behavior supports. The coach will consult with educators on strengthening classrooms to promote social-emotional development for all students.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, School Psychology or related field and an appropriate license/certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with appropriate license/certification.
• Knowledge of SEL practices (PBIS, MTSS, Restorative Practices, etc.).
• Ability to conduct individual and group SEL sessions.

Responsibilities

• Support student behavior intervention and MTSS initiatives.
• Observe and assess social-emotional-behavioral needs.
• Develop action plans with teams for student support.
• Track grades, attendance, and behavior to monitor progress.
• Provide direct support for social-emotional needs.
• Collaborate with district and community supports.
