Job summary

BestSelf is seeking a Social-Emotional Coordinator to provide SEL supports to students within grades K-12 at our Buffalo program. The SEC develops and implements social emotional interventions aligned with school goals and facilitates supports during expanded learning time and throughout the school day.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Social Work, Psychology or Mental Health/School Counseling (Master's preferred) and at least two years' experience with school-age children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or Mental Health/School Counseling; Master's level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and monitor programming to increase academic and social-emotional development aligned with District/School goals.
• Demonstrate BestSelf agency core values.
• Plan and deliver evidence-based curricula such as Second Step, CBITS, Positive Youth Development, MindUp and Restorative Practices.
• Maintain program data and reports to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with school day staff and BBF team to address student needs.
• Plan, deliver and track services and communications with parents/guardians.
