Requirements include valid NJ CE/CEAS/Standard certification (or eligibility), a background check clearance, and a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey CE, CEAS, or Standard teaching certification (or eligibility)
• Must pass a criminal history background check
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and standards-based instruction
• Develop and implement lesson plans reflecting student needs and curriculum goals
• Establish a classroom culture promoting learning, respect, and high expectations
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Assess and track student performance; provide feedback and intervention as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership
• Participate in professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives
• Support school events, field trips, and community-building activities
• Complete administrative responsibilities including attendance, grading, and lesson planning
• Adhere to all school, district, and network policies and procedures

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $60,000 $80,000, commensurate with experience
