Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the student counseling program
• Facilitate conversations about student progress and goals with actionable steps
• Observe students in classroom settings and teach as needed
• Coordinate individualized behavior plans with staff
• Participate in Child Study Team meetings and assist with IEP goals
• Work with teachers to communicate with parents
• Help manage student crises and liaise with agencies
• Participate in home visits for families
• Maintain accurate, confidential student records
• Ensure compliance with counseling regulations
• Lead professional development sessions for staff
• Coordinate with the Middle School Social Worker
• Perform other duties as outlined by the Principal
