Job summary

AHS Staffing is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for an elementary school in Kansas City, KS. This onsite role covers the 2026–2027 school year with 40 hours per week and a 30-minute lunch, from August 17, 2026 to May 26, 2027.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, delivering direct therapy, participating in IEP meetings, and documentation. Requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and KS licensure through KDADS; school-based experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Kansas SLP license through KDADS.
• School-based experience preferred; pediatrics passion encouraged.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language evaluations and direct therapy services to elementary students
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals
• Complete evaluations, documentation, and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• May provide supervision for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), depending on assignment
• School assignment, bell schedule, and caseload will be confirmed by the district
