Job summary

AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Overland Park, Kansas, starting around 12/01/2026. The role is 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 12-hour day shifts and in-person, school-based support for elementary students.

Responsibilities include developing individualized education/treatment programs and collaborating with teachers to create effective IEP goals, while receiving comprehensive benefits and per diem housing support typical

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active Kansas SLP License.

Responsibilities

• Manages and organizes specialized materials, equipment and environment essential to the speech and language program.
• Provides educationally related communication intervention for students with language, speech or hearing disorders.
• Assesses speech and language skills and helps develop IEP goals with teachers.
• Provides training and modeling to teammates in communication interventions.
• Communicates assessment results and progress with school staff, parents and students when appropriate.
