Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide onsite speech and language services in an elementary school setting in Kansas. The role covers early childhood through fourth grade and involves collaboration with teachers and families to support student success.

You will manage a 50-60 student caseload, complete IEP goals with educational teams, document progress, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

• Licensed SLP in Kansas with current state license.
• CCC-SLP certification (ASHA) required.
• Experience with elementary-aged students (EC-4th preferred).
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse students.
• Commitment to an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting.
• Manage caseload of 50-60 students, providing individual and group therapy.
• Develop and implement IEP goals with educational teams.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth.
• Document progress, maintain records, and comply with regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to whole-child approaches.
