Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services School Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract position in Brighton, Michigan, to support upper elementary students during the 2026-2027 school year.

You will provide direct therapy and consultation, assess students, and develop treatment plans while collaborating with teachers and families to promote communication and academic success. A Michigan license and school-based experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License (LARA).
• Experience providing speech-language services in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged students.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy and consultation services to upper elementary students with diverse communication needs.
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document student progress per school and state requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication and academic achievement.
• Manage a balanced elementary caseload while delivering high-quality, student-centered services.
