Job summary

Cross Country Education in Sodus, NY is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to support K–12 students, primarily at the elementary level, helping them move with confidence and participate fully in classroom activities.

You will evaluate student needs, develop individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to monitor progress and promote student success. A NY PT license and Master’s degree are required; experience with school-aged children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Valid New York State Physical Therapist (PT) License.
• Experience working with school-aged children, particularly elementary students, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services to K–12 students across three campuses.
• Evaluate students and develop individualized therapy plans to support mobility, motor skills, and functional participation in the school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other members of the student support team to monitor progress and promote student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, student progress, and services provided.
