Job summary

Cross Country Education seeks a local contract Physical Therapist to support K–12 students in Tavares, FL. The role covers evaluation, treatment and goal development with a focus on mobility and functional independence.

You will collaborate with teachers, families and school teams while documenting progress and maintaining compliance. The position offers a 40-hour week on a 41-week contract with competitive hourly pay and school-based scheduling.

Qualifications

• DPT degree is required.
• Active Florida PT license required.
• Successful NPTE completion required.
• Criminal background check completed.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to K–12 students including assessments and therapy goals.
• Implement interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance and independence.
• Collaborate with educators, families and multidisciplinary teams for student goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment and progress.
