Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT in Michigan. The role focuses on delivering services to approximately 25 students in an elementary setting, coordinating with teachers and staff to implement targeted interventions.

You will evaluate students’ developmental and academic needs, develop individualized plans, and participate in IEP meetings. Strong collaboration with families and school teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Michigan.
• Recent experience providing OT services in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of K-5 developmental needs and IEP processes.
• Familiarity with educational assessments and therapy plan development.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators, support staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Confer with teachers, administrators, and student support teams to identify students in need of OT services.
• Evaluate students’ developmental, functional, and adaptive needs as related to academics.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Document student progress and attend IEP meetings as a valued team member.
• Offer consultation and training for staff to support carryover of therapeutic strategies in the classroom.
• Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school and district policies.
