Qualifications

• One year of experience in the Cy-Fair Food Service Department.
• Currently a Cy-Fair Manager, Assistant Manager or Back-Up Manager.
• TASN Certificate or actively pursuing certification.
• Good organization and ability to prioritize daily work schedules.
• Strong math skills for currency handling.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. and frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Administer the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs at the satellite unit.
• Record and extend inventory according to procedures.
• Market the school food service program.
• Motivate employees and provide training.
• Ensure equipment and sanitation procedures are followed; attend Sanitation Certification Classes.
• Direct proper handling and cooking of food.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards; report accidents and complete documentation.
• Order and receive all food, condiments, and cleaning supplies; adjust orders as needed.
• Handle money, record ticket sales, count money, and prepare deposits.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct as per handbook; proactive in work.
