Chesterfield County Public Schools is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to manage daily operations of Facility Services staff and oversee repairs, maintenance, and preventive programs across school facilities. The role includes coordinating with principals, prioritizing work, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising custodial staff, managing work orders, and reporting on inventory, expenditures and repairs.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge in general building trades including basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Extensive knowledge of various trade equipment and tools.
• Ability to train and direct the work of others.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use a work order system.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate daily Facility Services staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Inspect facilities and supervise repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
• Prioritize work with administrators and maintenance staff; manage after-hours calls.
• Monitor safety procedures and ensure compliance with Environmental and Health policies.
