Job summary

Burlington Public Schools in Burlington, MA seeks a School Counselor/School Adjustment Counselor for Pine Glen Elementary School for the 2026/2027 year. This role aims to ensure all students have equitable access to behavioral/mental health services and social-emotional learning within the educational setting.

Qualifications

DESE license required.
At least three years of professional experience in a school setting preferred.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with educators on implementing a social-emotional learning curriculum.
Communicate clearly in oral and written form.
Use evidence-based mental health practices and data to guide student growth.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, staff and community.
Work independently and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Maintain confidential records and comply with district policies.
Support students from diverse backgrounds in an equitable and inclusive manner.
