Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling or related field.
• Eligible to hold Vermont Certification in School Counseling
• At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Master degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students to assess abilities, limitations, interests, talents, aptitudes and surroundings.
• Assist students to develop skills and attitudes which may be used to realize full potential.
• Assist parents/guardians and teachers to discuss student and school concerns (meetings, letters, calls).
• Collaborate with school staff and community resources to support students’ needs.
• Adhere to all District policies and regulations.
