Qualifications

• Master’s degree in school counseling or approved program.
• Experience in full-time teaching or school guidance/counseling.
• Eligibility for appropriate licensure inVA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support personal-social, mental health, academic needs and college/career readiness for each student.
• Provide individual counseling and group sessions on topics like study skills, self-esteem, and grief.
• Deliver classroom guidance lessons every few weeks aligned with ASCA/VA standards.
• Collect and analyze data to measure program effectiveness and equity.
• Collaborate with families, staff and administrators to promote student success.
