Qualifications

• Promote positive behavior through redirection and reinforcement; adhere to school policies.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff.
• This role has a part time schedule of Monday-Friday- 2:15pm-5:30pm

Description

Our Lady of Mount Carmel (OLMC), a Catholic elementary school, is searching for a part-time Caretaker for the 2026-2027 school year in our After Care Program. This position requires an enthusiastic individual that can interact with and support young children after a full day of school. OLMC, with its fully degreed faculty, takes pride in its Archdiocesan curriculum and programs. OLMC offers a wide range of educational, spiritual and extracurricular activities. Its motivated students, engaged parents, expert staff, and its supportive parish family are the hallmarks of OLMC.

The candidate should be competent at planning recreational and art-based activities for children, management of supplies, andensuring the spiritual and academic growth of students. In addition, the candidate must be able to assist students who may need additional support. It is an expectation that the Caretaker engage the children and work alongside them during the hours of the program.

Responsibilities:
