Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and engage groups of children effectively.

• Commitment to Catholic education mission.
• Completion of required background checks and safe environment training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8 during after-school care hours.
• Assist students with homework and academic support as needed.
• Interact positively with children through gym activities, games, arts and crafts, and recreational opportunities.
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all students.
• Encourage appropriate student behavior and positive social interaction.
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and administration as needed.
• Support and model Christian values, kindness, patience, and respect in all interactions.
• Participate respectfully in prayer and faith-based activities as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with Prevent and Protect STL requirements.
• Follow all diocesan, school, health, safety, and child protection policies and procedures.
