• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
• Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs and monitor progress.
• Experience collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Provide targeted instruction and support in literacy, mathematics, and social skills.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum and provide accommodations for students in the general education setting.
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and confidence.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support at home.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Assist in the development of behavior intervention plans and provide support for students with behavioral challenges.
• Foster relationships with community resources and support services to enhance student learning and well-being.
