Job summary

Qualifications

• Love and see the high potential of all children.
• Experience working with children in school, childcare or enrichment settings.
• Ability to quickly build relationships and rapport with children and uphold high expectations in a warm but clear and direct manner.
• Flexible, team-player committed to ensuring a positive, joyful experience for students.
• Complete all required criminal and child abuse background checks: PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, Cogent Federal Fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality supervision of children during recess.
• Uphold and reinforce schoolwide behavior expectations.
• Redirect students to meet behavior expectations.
• Facilitate games and activities while supervising the group.
• Maintain a bully-free recess environment and communicate concerns to staff.
• Assist with bringing out play equipment and tidying the play area after recess.
