Job summary

Farmington Public Schools is seeking a Permanent PD Substitute for Noah Wallace Elementary School for the 2026-2027 year. This role offers direct classroom experience supporting Grades K-4 and other elementary schools in the district.

The position pays $144 per day, with hours 8:30am–3:30pm on school days. Substitutes are guaranteed an assignment on every school day and assignments rotate based on Teacher PD locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address individual student needs and provide additional guidance as needed.
• Communicate with students, staff, and parents as necessary.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Report issues to the regular teacher or principal.

Noah Wallace Elementary School: Permanent PD Substitute needed for the 2026-2027 school year!

GREAT opportunity for those interested in obtaining a teaching certification or those looking to support their local district. This position will allow direct experience working in the classroom as a teacher or paraprofessional.

This position will support Grades K-4 at Noah Wallace Elementary School and other elementary schools in the district.

PD Sub daily pay rate: $144 per day! Hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm School Days

All Permanent PD Substitutes are guaranteed an assignment every day that school is in session. Assignments will be made based on location of Teacher Professional Development as you will substitue for in those classrooms. PD is assigned therefore you will know in advance when you should report to a different elementary school. Position may terminate at the end of the 2026-2027 school year.

General Description: The Elementary Professional Development Substitute Teacher is responsible for providing instruction and classroom management for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The substitute teacher ensures a productive learning environment, follows lesson plans, and adapts instruction to meet the needs of students.
