All Permanent PD Substitutesareguaranteedan assignment every day that school is in session. Assignments will be made based on location of Teacher Professional Development as you will substitue for in those classrooms. PD is assigned therefore you will know in advance when you should report to a different elementary school. Position may terminate at the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
General Description: The Elementary Professional Development Substitute Teacher is responsible for providing instruction and classroom management for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The substitute teacher ensures a productive learning environment, follows lesson plans, and adapts instruction to meet the needs of students.
