GREAT opportunity for those interested in obtaining a teaching certification or those looking to support their local district. This position will allow direct experience working in the classroom as a teacher or paraprofessional.
This position will support East Farms Elementary School (K-4) and occasionally the other Elementary Schools when needed.
Permanent BuildingSubdaily pay rate: $144 per day!
Eligible for health insurance. Paid sick time per CTPSL.
QUALIFICATIONS:
All Permanent Building Substitutesareguaranteedan assignment every day that school is in session. Assignments will be made daily based on your home-school. Position may terminate at the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
Application Procedure:
Apply online and submit 3 letters of reference and copies of college transcripts. If hired, you must be fingerprinted within 30 days. Candidates with State of CT Teacher Certification preferred.
Selection Procedure: Selected candidates will be contacted by email or phone to schedule an interview with a district administrator.
